Social Security Disability applications include report form

Social Security Disability is an invaluable resource provided by the U.S. Government to those who are unable to work due to disability. Social Security Disability claims vary from psychological disabilities to physical disabilities. Depending on one’s disability and income history prior to the disability, disability benefits awarded to Wisconsin residents can vary dramatically. For this reason, many individuals seek the support of a professional for assistance when filing a Social Security Disability claim.

There are many different applications and forms that can be submitted in the Social Security Disability process. One question that often arises is regarding the distinction between applications for disability and a disability report. Many disability applicants wonder if they must complete each of these documents.

The answer to this question is relatively simple. A disability application is the application filed by an individual who wishes to receive monetary benefits from the government because he or she is unable to work due to a disability. In order to qualify for these benefits a disability application absolutely must be filed.

On the other hand, the disability report is a special form which gives the Social Security Disability administrators information regarding one’s current medical status or the current condition and extent of one’s disability. The disability report also includes a medical authorization and release, which allows administrators to obtain an individual’s medical records from on his or her behalf. Many legal strategies exist which can help Wisconsin residents to obtain the highest level of Social Security Disability compensation available to them. These strategies can also help disabled workers to get awarded disability when previous attempts of filing on their own have not produced success.
